Summary/Abstract: (Article transl. by S. Hattersley) The Old Jewish Cemetery in Prague1 is the second oldest Jewish burial place in Prague and one of the most important sites in Prague’s Jewish Town. Founded in the first half of the fifteenth century at the western edge of the then ghetto, it served as the Prague Jewish community’s main burial site for 350 years. With an overview of the sections in the Old Jewish Cemetery with the number of tombstones documented by Leopold M. Popper and the dates of the oldest tombstones.
