Summary/Abstract: The consequences of the political transition in Bulgarian society since 1989 show clearly the social categories such as poor, homeless, jobless, socially excluded, disabled exist in nearly every real life household and some of them are particularly related to the young generation. The young people meet many difficulties for their education, without any possibility to obtain a loan or being funded in a legally organised way. The unemployment rate among the under 29 years old is over 45% of all unemployed people in this country. Unfortunately young people cannot obtain social (town council) housing; fully occupied since a long time ago, no new premises to built in the last few years. The mortageon housing loans is 77% and this is unacceptable for those in need. The hidden homelessness is increasing steadily. The marginal groups of young people are expanded in their number and diversity-generation confrontation, violent environment according to the general social context of economic crisis and political changes at the present moment.
