Summary/Abstract: A written version of a public debate hold in the Young Writer's Summer School in Szigliget, late summer 2001 with the participation of some prominent critics who have written in a very polemic way about this film in the Hungarian press. The debate has concentrated not just different avaluations of the film from different aesthetic points of view, but was also an opportunity to confront different positions in the so called "artistic canon"-debate, the generational aspect in the "modernist-postmodernist" polemics, problems of universalism and relativism. Participants of this debate were: Gyorgy Baron, film critic, Andras Forgach, writer, Andras Renyi, professor of aesthetics, Krisztian Peer, poet and critic, Lajos Janossy, writer and critic, Sandor Turcsanyi, film critic, Andras Vagvolgyi, journalist.
