A Review: A press discourse about foreigners. On the basis of texts discussing “Łódzka Wieża Babel” and Afro-American people.

Summary/Abstract: Grażyna Zarzycka‟s article is the author‟s presentation of a book published in 2006, whose subject is an academic description of a debate on foreigners that appeared in Polish press (1989-2003). The author discusses the contents of particular parts of her book and presents the conclusions resulting from her analysis. In the last part of the article she formulates some particular advice for people who speak about “foreigners” in public. The author suggests using specific strategies while choosing names describing people in order not to violent the rules of language appropriateness.
