Around Humanization of Science – Signs, Tracks, and Contexts

Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt of thought synthesis relating to selected problems within the area of autobiographical context of knowledge construction. Special attention is paid to the process of humanization of science that is considered in both historical and interdisciplinary perspectives. The main areas of interest include: humanistic medicine, philosophy of Paul Ricoeur, Polish sociology and ethnography (represented by Jan Szczepański and Kazimiera Zawistowicz-Adamska), as well as autoethnographic approach.
