Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is effort to find the place of the autobiographical works in the Bulgarian revival. Biographical works are from the literary point of view part of the cultural heritage, what show also the transformations and progress of the Bulgarian movement in the course of 19th century. Also we can see the important role of some antithesis of the Bulgarian Renaissance. It is first of all the common frame of the cultural and social movement in the South-Slavic background. In our paper we would like to concentrate up on the substance of the autobiographical works – we can state that these factors of the Revivals creation is the real transition between intimate and public worlds. In this sense we can show some charakteristics of the autobiographia by Sophronii Vrachanski (The Life and Martyrdom…), Grigor Purlichev (Autobiographia) and the „folkloristic autobiographia“ by Marko Tsepenkov.
