Bulgarians and the Dream of Theophylact of Ochrid Archbishop of Bulgaria about Constantinople

Summary/Abstract: On the basis of Theophylact’s correspondence with several Byzantine aristocrats who had influence in the Court, the author makes some conclusions about his role as an Archbishop of Ochrid, which appears to be not so bad as a group of scientists think. It looks like that Theophylact was driven not by hate against Bulgarians in his actions, but by his love and dream about Constantinople – the famous Byzantine capital.
