Summary/Abstract: The treatise is going on about poetic attributions directed by Franciszek Zabłocki to two well-known writers from second half of XVIII century — Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski and Franciszek Dionizy Kniaźnin. The dissertations presented are based mainly on threads of rhymed inscription concerning the author’s artistic experiences and technical preferences; the contemporary bookmen’ social status is also taken into consideration. The texts analysis aims to indicate all literary allusions and references in metapoetic and biographical character. They are rooted in Zabłocki’s literary oeuvre, on that time poetry, in contemporary cultural realities and in distant ancient tradition which is an attractive source of inspiration. From the course of given dissertation a favourable image of the author emerged. He is presented as a complete writer who makes artistic choices consciously, he observes the reality of the time and different native culture aspects with a remarkable perceptiveness. Finally, he is a sensitive man who valued and cultivated ties of friendship highly.
