Summary/Abstract: Aiming to highlight the role of human capital in Romania’s economic growth, we have used statistics concerning the period between 1996 and 2006 and have built several instances of an econometric model which correlates the changes of the gross domestic product (GDP) conformably to a series of variables regarded as decisive for measuring human capital.
