Summary/Abstract: Present paper aims to highlight a few basic developmental components of a novel economic conception on management, which components are taken to be adequate to sustainable and human development. Methodologically, starting from the assumption that managerial actions are a quintessence of humans’ goals accomplishment, our research re-considers the main set of needs and behaviours in nowadays, in consistency with recent crisis realities, with knowledge society’s principles, and also with traditional European liberal concepts. Educational observations and criticizing result; proposals for widening managerial horizons of approach and responsibility are involved.
