Summary/Abstract: Following a brief consideration of the dialectical rapport dream-nightmare-inferno, I look at some psychological aspects Carl Gustav Jung and Charlotte Beradt point out on the subject of Nazism. The scope of the article is to provide a comparative and chronological analysis of three nightmares featuring Adolf Hitler, which I found in the diaries of Federico Fellini, Graham Greene and Georges Perec. For the Italian author, Hitler becomes an oneiric character, a clown and a conversation interlocutor. Greene contributes to Hitler’s being captured whereas Perec remains a spectator, one sharing in, however, the same infernal landscape.
