Summary/Abstract: Competitive management represents all the actions performed by the manager and by members of the organization with the purpose of concentrating efforts in the process of efficient coordination of human, informational, financial and physical resources, towards ensuring social and material progress, satisfying the needs deriving from the attainment of major set objectives, in order to achieve and increase company competitiveness. Managers of the future must be willing to change, to be dynamic and active, to notice, to anticipate and to cope with the continuous transformations. They will be responsible for team management and the management of their personal training and development. In the same time, they will need to possess skills for human resources management, for using information and information technologies. Managers will have to look for quality and will have to be prepared to work in an increasingly international environment.
