MARITIME POWER INFLUENCE ON THE SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT

Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the last millennia civilizations has shown that the people, countries or empires have grown and evolved commensurate with the development of a form of power as well as the territorial expansion due to the power action and finally to the good governance over the conquered territories. They have devolved or dissapeared as their capacity to maintain that power also reduced. In general, the smaller or larger powers fell into decline – some became even extinct – due to the poor governance.
