COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY DURING EU-LED CRISES MANAGEMENT MISSIONS

Summary/Abstract: This essay analyses the communications and information systems (CIS) security and information assurance for the CIS infrastructure in support of the civilian and military structures deployed in the European Union led crises management operations and missions. The variety of the theoretical approaches to determine the multilayered information management infrastructure brings the conclusion that the security modernization and implementation process is extremely complex especially in the context of the cyber defense and computer network operations environment.
