Summary/Abstract: This article examines the consequences of the crime of genocide, established in the verdict of the International Court of Justice in The Hague from 26 February 2007, in the case Bosnia and Herzegovina versus Serbia and Montenegro, concerning violations of the Convention on Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, as well as ways to eliminate them, for the purpose of protecting peace and safety in the West Balkan region.
