Summary/Abstract: Bankruptcy is defined as difficult economic situation of a debtor, being unable to honor its debt to commercial creditors, from a business legally în the situation where the bankruptcy court found the debtor insolvent firm or the statement în that situation or to the request of one or more creditors. The concept of bankruptcy is closely related to two categories: creditworthiness and ailing firm.
