Summary/Abstract: Rudolf Chmel is deservedly considered as one of the best Slovak experts on Hungarian policy and Slovak - Hungarian relations. We can for the most part accept the opinions expressed in his article on the Trianon syndrome in Hungarian foreign policy. However, I would like to comment on several points of his argument.
