Summary/Abstract: This paper explains and applies a statistical analysis approach for the study of a representative pottery group. Pottery from dwelling no. 5 at Sultana ‘Malu Roşu’ is used as a case study. The results show a number of specific features for the examined complex and by using the same methodological criteria comparisons with other similar (dwellings) or different (rubbish areas, foundation ditches) complexes are possible.
