Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the theory of socio-constructivism and its contributions to the understanding of anarchy as a concept in international relations. I took as example Alexander Wendt’s theory, who considers that anarchy, is what states make of it: the Social Construction of Power Politics. In this article I made an incursion in his ideas regarding envisaged subject, and I concluded that identity and interest are defining for the anarchical character of the state by the simple reason that states dispose of themselves.
