Man's essential nature proves the reality of resurrection

Summary/Abstract: This paper consists of a comparative consideration of the phenomenon of human life after death. The vestiges of spiritual and material culture of ancient peoples, which the author begins by expounding, are convincing evidence that belief in survival after death has been our constant companion throughout human history. Following this introduction, the paper addresses the question of resurrection in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. It ends with the conclusion that belief in life after death is innate in humankind, and that it is vital to return to the universal religious values of the world, undergoing as it is a profound spiritual, moral and intellectual crisis.
