NOTES ON THE POETICS OF “SPRING WIND” BY NIKOLA FURNADZHEV

Summary/Abstract: The article is a part of a monograph on the works of Nikola Fumadzhiev (1903-1968). The connection of his book of poetry "Spring Wind" with the trends of the Bulgarian and the European avant-garde is examined. The stress is on the negation of symbolism and the nature of imaginist proposals. The peculiarity of the stylistic system of the Bulgarian poet in the context of the lyrical movements of the 20-ties of the 20-tieth century is pointed out.
