Summary/Abstract: The model of language learning, teaching and assessment in European high educational area could be described with one word “multilingualism”. But the implementation of this model is a question of university language policies. How do they differ and to what extend they are underlays from the Common European Framework of languages? Nevertheless the (foreign) language competence is one of the key competences for each European student, language learning and assessment are vary depends on the context of each European country. This article presents a context of Bulgarian high educational area and the problems of (foreign) language teaching and assessment.
