Summary/Abstract: International security complexities indicate important developments in the relationship between security and the sovereign state, structures of political power and authority, and the operations of global capital. The lack of dedicated and specific regulation of over-assessment attitudes and over-ownership of private military companies, risk to further deepen cultural cleavages between nations and confusing the authorities. The existence of current regulations is however undermined by the absence of a coercive mechanism that can penalize infringements after they happened.
