Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to identify the drivers of Internet Banking adoption among the high-educated youth market in Romania. For this purpose, a large sample of students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, was surveyed. With the use of binary logistic regression, the impact of several input variables on the Internet Banking (IB) adoption status was analysed. Results show that age is the strongest predictor, followed by students‘ perceptions regarding the level of security/privacy of the IB service and faculty profile, respectively. To the best of authors‘ knowledge, this study is the first trying to explain the IB adoption behaviour in Romania. Therefore, its findings are of particular importance from both a theoretical and a practical perspective
