Summary/Abstract: The authors present three new curved fibulae (Bügelfibeln) recently found in the Northern part of the province Scythia Minor (today Dobrudja), at: Căprioara (Fig. 1/1 and Fig. 2), Valea Teilor (Fig. 1/2 and fig. 3/a) and Luncaviţa (Fig. 1/3 and Fig. 3/c). These sites are located in Tulcea County. The fibula from Luncaviţa must be dated between the middle of the 5th – the second half of the 6th centuries. The pieces from Căprioara and Valea Teilor can be placed in the second half of the 6th – the first decades of the 7th centuries. Other 11 curved fibulae are known as found in Scythia Minor. It seems they are local artefacts made under Byzantine influence during the migrations of the Germanic and Slavic populations in 5th – 7th centuries.
