Information content and microstructure of the Polish Academy of Sciences Great Dictionary of Polish

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents latest results of work on the Polish Academy of Sciences Great Dictionary of Polish (Wielki słownik języka polskiego PAN) which can be found on the Internet (http://wsjp.pl). The author describes elements of the dictionary structure. The paper gives us information which types of lexical units were elaborated upon as well as what range of information content found its way to the entries. There is an overview of the structure of each entry and the way in which to use the dictionary.
