Summary/Abstract: To talk about school evaluation in contemporary Romanian education system means that you assume a great responsibility. One of the biggest challenges of assessment is to identify the criteria of choosing evaluation methods, especially as their repertoire has enriched with modern methods that allow the extension of the assessment subject from knowledge to attitudes and behaviors. Objective factors presented in a previous study, are supplemented by the subjective ones: human resources of the class, teacher's personality, psychological resources of the class, teacher-student educational relationship. Evaluation of religion assumes that man (hence the student) is the image of God, called to His likeness. In these circumstances, the choice of methods of assessment that lead to spiritual enrichment becomes an imperative. The personality of the professor of religion leaves its mark on the identification and the valorization of assessment methods, given that they are not effective in themselves. Psychological resources of the class become an important factor in choosing assessment methods because of their complexity. The choice of assessment methods is not only dependent on teacherstudent relationship, but also contributes to its development.
