Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes Kretinga nursery school „Ąžuoliukas“ parents’ and pedagogues’ opinions on its services quality. A contemporary pre – school institution is on the threshold of modernization, therefore, efficient educational and social changes are related to spread of educational innovations, and development of education institutions. Here various trends in children education are observed: aesthetic, health, ethno-cultural, communicative, etc. Institutions have become more independent and have an opportunity to design individual education programs which enable parents to take part in them. In that way education institutions are attempting to involve parents in control of pre – school education service quality. Pre – school education services quality should be evaluated differently, therefore, the aim was to identify what service quality depends on, how service users (parents) and service givers (pedagogues) understand each other, childcare, education, financing possibilities, etc. The research, based on opinions, has identified the following facts: service quality depends on kindness to, clearness and understanding of each other, parents’ and pedagogues’ point of view. An opinion that childcare in the nursery school is good and possible to be sold and bought was negated.
