Summary/Abstract: In this study all the pyxides finds from the Babadag area are presented. These ceramic forms are dated, by comparison with Aegean and Saharna-Solonceni area discoveries, in the 10th – 9th centuries BC; only the pyxis fragment from Teliţa-Amza, found in Babadag III layers, was attributed to the 8th – 7th centuries BC, being the latest piece of it’s kind. The author underlines the resemblances between the Babadag’s pyxides and the Saharna-Solonceni ones, a very normal situation due to the affiliation of the two cultures to The Great Complex of Stamped Ceramics.
