Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the road of the every study in the field of international relations leads to the United States (the US), because the US emerged the main actor of global politics after the Cold War. This article aims to explain detailed the local and international factors of the US revival under the Obama Administration. Firstly it will be analyzed the main periods and tendencies in the foreign policy of US and the main issues of global politics will be discussed. Afterwards, the common Turkish and American foreign policy projects will be introduced within the context of Turkey-USA relations. Further it will be argued that the main goals of the US’ foreign policy are to maintain their global leadership and the transformation of its foreign policy reflex as well.
