Summary/Abstract: Unconventional, asymptomatic, fragmentary, parodical as it looks like, postmodernism cannot be completely decoded in the context of Lyotard’s definition, that of distrust in totalizing narratives, in the symbolism of Baudrillard’s simulation, not even in the complex interference between architecture, painting, literature and criticism, which leads to metamorphoses in an entire array of fields, from cultural to political.
