New development strategy for Euroregion Neisse- -Nisa-Nysa (ERN) − conditions and its evaluation

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to show the alternative ways of development of Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa (ERN) in the context of Memorandum of conference participants of 20 years of ERN which was adopted in 2011. An alternative development way for ERN in relation to the current situation is to transform it into a component of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC). This concept is currently being discussed at the Polish- -Czech-German border. The last part of the article contains conclusions of that analysis and recommendations that can be used in the preparation of new development strategy of ERN.
