Analysis of economic and financial situation of PGE SA

Summary/Abstract: Polish Energy Group SA is the largest energy holding company in Poland and one of the largest companies in the energy sector in Central and Eastern Europe. This paper analyzes the most important changes that took place in the energy sector in recent years paying special attention to the years 2008-2011. The paper discusses economic and financial situation of PGE. Based on the data selected financial indicators were evaluated and the research period covered the years 2008-2011.
