Summary/Abstract: Straipsnyje pristatomas aprašomasis tyrimas, kurio metu buvo nustatyti universiteto studentų profesinį tapatumą lemiantys veiksniai. Metodologinį tyrimo pagrindą sudaro palaikomųjų dalyvio žinių pozicija ir jos šaka – emancipacinė tyrimo strategija. Tyrimo išvadose teigiama, kad universitetas, kaip organizacija, gali padėti vystytis ankstyvajam studentų profesiniam tapatumui. Tai vyksta sudarant studentams edukacines sąlygas pažinti psichosocialinį asmens elgesį, suteikiant savirealizacijos, savianalizės, tobulinimosi ir mokymosi visą gyvenimą galimybes, supažindinant su institucijų, svarbių konkrečiai studijų krypčiai, veikla. The article presents the results of descriptive literature review concerning factors, influencing the development of professional identity among university students. The revealed factors are the following: characteristics of student‘s personality; personal self-concept, autonomy and responsibility; knowing the study advantages and meaningfulness; knowing the Professional reality of a chosen study area; professional knowledge; integration of studies and professional practice; development of research competencies; knowing the instruments that explain the chosen study area; age of a student; definition of professional jurisdiction. Methodological background is participative / advocacy knowledge position and its branch such as emancipatory research strategy, which seeks to stipulate the discussion and develop new debates. This review strives to summarize the read primary, secondary and tertiary research resources by extracting the important information and integrating from different resources and re-organizing it. The conclusions are focused on idea that the university as an organization could organize the conditions for primary / early professional identity. It is processed through organisation of educational conditions for student to learn the psychosocial behaviour and giving the instruments for self-realization, self-analysis, self-development and life-long learning and presenting to the student the peculiarities of institutional activities that are meaningful for study area.
