Ivan Karamazov’s Confession, between Greatness and Mediocrity

Summary/Abstract: This study intends to bring into the actuality the novel writt en by the russian writer F.M. Dostoevsky - The Brothers Karamazov, through the character Ivan Karamazov. During our research, we will deal with Ivan’s confession in front of his brother Alyosha and of the priest Zossima. We want to show, through this analysis, the batt le that is given in the soul of this enigmatic character in order to fi nd answers to his existential preoccupations.
