Summary/Abstract: The paper sets out the findings relating to pupils’ perception of teaching using comic strips as compared with classic teacher-recipient instruction, in an experimental study of the potential for using comic strips to teach Philosophy with Logic at grammar-school level. A semantic differential rating scale was applied to a sample of 80 pupils to study their perception of “teaching using comic strips” as compared with the “classic (receptive- transmission)” teaching model. The results of a comparison between the two teaching methods, taken as a whole, indicate that pupils view “teaching using comic strips” in a favourable light.
