Crimes against patrimony in the new Criminal Code - the main changes brought in comparison with the current regulation

Summary/Abstract: Apparently, the new Criminal Code adds ten criminal offences in the filed of economic crimes. But if we take into account the two crimes, embezzlement and concealment respectively, which were transferred parts of the Criminal Code,it results that, in fact, the category of economic crimes was "enriched" by 12 offences. This paper will highlight the major changes in comparison to the current regulation, according to the order of the five chapters of Part II of the new Criminal Code.
