Summary/Abstract: One of the most important tasks for the Polish presidency will be to keep up the momentum of the Eastern Partnership, threatened as it is by the EU’s navel-gazing and focus on developments in the Arab world. In particular, it would be desirable for conclusions from the European Neighbourhood Policy review to be smoothly adopted by the Council and the Parliament, and for negotiations with Ukraine on a deep and comprehensive free trade area to be wrapped up.
