Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses the impact of the economic crisis of 2008 on Lithuanian industries. Research involves 68 industries (identified according to the 2nd digit level classification of economic activities by the Statistics Lithuania), whereas the effect of the crisis is evaluated on the basis of the system of 14 indicators, including those for the financial state and performance of the enterprise, including profitability, liquidity, solvency and asset turnover, accompanied by additional economic indicators characterising the level of economic activity: the number of enterprises, sales revenues, the number of employees and average wages. Research is based on annual relative changes in the values of the selected indicators compared to the previous year and to the base year while the period under research refers to calendar years 2006–2011. The study allows indicating the industries most and least affected by the economic crisis; furthermore, the industries having the best and worst after-crisis recovery rates are identified. The issues of disclosing financial indicators mostly affected by the economic crisis and being the first to recover afterwards are also examined.
