Summary/Abstract: The article is a reconsideration of the entire literary work of Anton Holban, one of the many talented inter-war Romanian young writers. The author of the article who finds the 100 years anniversary from the birth of the artist" an implausible centenary "points-out a few characteristics of the prose Holban wrote in his short life and the novelty of his writing sadly discovered so later in the 70ies.
