Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the specificity of budgeting of participation costs in fairs, as an example of project budgeting, which has purpose, range, tasks and first of all budget. In the first part of the article the author presented basic purposes of firms participation in performance-exhibition events. The second part is devoted to participation costs in fairs and their classifications. The third part presents methods of budgeting which can be employed while preparing costs budget of participation in fairs.
