Summary/Abstract: The contemporary Romanian language is under the sign of uncontrolled dynamics. It is closely connected to intellectual acquirements and to the need of communication. Thus, the verbal messages are not only accompanied by nonverbal or paraverbal elements, but they also imply some structural changes, a process in which the receiver plays an important role. The consequence of such a process is a linguistic insufficiency that either splits the discourse, turning it into an intelligible one, or suppresses it within a crowded semantic point, which focuses the discourse towards the receiver who will bring forth his/ her exceptional linguistic competence. Our paper deals with the flow from linguistic tendency towards a communication crisis. The empirical data will be mainly provided from mass-media.
