Summary/Abstract: Scheduling software projects is a specific problem among resource-constrained project scheduling problems because of the huge role of the human factor and competence of individual operations contractors. Duration of activity is closely related to the cost of implementation because of the wage differences that occur among IT professionals. The paper presents an ant colony system used to perform the time-cost optimization of IT projects.
