Summary/Abstract: The use of Computers is very important in improving the efficacy of work. It is a better way this use to be organized and managed by the manager, but sometimes it occurs spontaneously. The use of the Computers in the Neurological Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Unit (NCCSMU) at the University Hospital „Tzaritza Ioanna – ISUL“ can be divided into five stages. Widespread use of computers in NCCSMU was reached the third stage. The fourth and fifth stages have their own advantages and disadvantages, as the fourth stage was the highest level reached in the self-development of the unit, and the fifth stage is the first level of development of a universal computer-based hospital database.
