Summary/Abstract: In times of mass media, it is impossible to act in political, business or comertcial area without organized comunication with public. In these conditions, public relations, promotional activities and marketing are having more and more important place in all areas of society. Serbian journalism offen forgets its basic functions, acting in the service or public relations and marketing of different organisations, institutions, companies or individuals. The most frequent journalism genre in which these activities are done is interview and its most frequent role is publicity.
