Summary/Abstract: Entering school is one of the most important events in a child’s life and it is also emotionally overwhelming. If you ask children how do they feel about going to school, the answers will be very different, but more often we will find that they don’t have the most positive reactions toward this activity. In this research, we tried to capture the emotional reactions specific to the classroom context, to see whether the positive emotions are more frequent than the negative ones and to find whether there is a connections between learning achievement and the frequency of positive emotions experienced in school.
