Summary/Abstract: Creativity seems to be crucial competence of organization on the contemporary and changing hotel market. Therefore hotels need creative employees to initiate organizational innovation, especially front-line personnel, generating new and useful ideas improving quality and service performance. The aim of this studyis to presentthe leading environment stimulants and managerial practices that enhance hotel employee creativity. However, undermining creativity impediments are also presented. The results of this study increase the knowledge in the field of human resources management in hospitality, in particular regarding the role and importance of internal motivation in enhancing creativity of the hotel employees. In terms of the application, they provide information how to manage the organization to foster creative behavior of the hotel staff.
