Summary/Abstract: Holiness is not an unusual or a state of emergency of the Christian, reserved for few people. It is an outpouring normal life of every Christian in the Holy Trinity. All are called to become saints. In fact, in the Church of the New Testament, "holy" and "Christian" are words that can replace each other. Jesus was addressed to all people without exception: "You must be perfect, just as your Father in heavean is perfect" (Mt. 5, 48). St. Paul also reminds us of our duty to pursue holiness (I Thess. 4, 3). A saint is someone who is not perfect, but simply he is a sinner forgiven, who follow Christ.
