Summary/Abstract: As creations present in entertaining situations or used as parables in order to convey certain social messages artistically, Nastradin’s cycle anecdotes were historically prevalent on Albanian cultural environment as artistic forms of particular relevance. Structural analyses as well as that of tools which make realized anecdotal effect helped us determine some typological paradigms. Most prominent are anecdotes realized by being based in suggestive power of sophisms: effects that stream by playing with the ambiguity or multiple meanings of words, replacement of the premises, separation of the phenomenon or the concept from the whole, similarities between things, phenomena or individuals etc. Among other typologies are highlighted anecdotes that create their effect through paradox or absurd situations. These invite its audience to pay attention and to sharpen intelligence in order to detect social message, after a humorous effect breaks out by itself in the surface with remarkable wisdom and strength. Humor becomes even greater tool of social impact when it is intertwined with a keen irony, put in the function of scolding certain human vices and defects. A group of anecdotes is based in metaphoric findings or on other tricks. In a specific way the anecdotes of Nastradin’s cycle synthesize the experience and wisdom of people and, circulating as oral compositions, they could not be un-richened and un-actualized even more, by being adapted in new problematics which came forth by social development flow. This way of development could convince us that authorship of Nastradin is steadily shared with anonymous creators of more recent times. Very often anecdotes generalize some universal human situations and phenomena, what gives them values which keep them still present both in artistic function and the social one.
