HAT SONGS, ORIGINAL GENRE OF ALBANIAN FOLKLORE

Summary/Abstract: The term “hat songs” it self presents a twofold phenomenon of our folk compositions: a type of songs, which from metric aspect are based in the tradition of folk versification and a game similar with that of cups, but associated with these songs. The specific of the these song’s texts from geographical aspect is the cradle of their creation, approximately northern regions where the cycle of our legendary epos was created, mountains of the Northern Albania and all over Kosovo.
